Artist Statement:

This piece is a political statement about how fences are used as weapons on our southern border. The fast-moving vehicles in the center panel communicate the contrast of importance that companies and capitalism have when being granted border access. Families, on the other hand, are broken up, discarded, and left still, as seen in this piece's top and bottom panels. You can also view this piece on youtube here.
